So, you’re new to Northreach? Safe to say, we’re so excited to connect with you!

Joining a faith community can be daunting at times, but we want to try and help make this process as easy as possible for you. For this reason, what we’ve done is put together some info on this page to help you explore the life of this church family.

Below you will find information about our different services and life groups, as well as some other useful bits and pieces to help you get started.

Ideally, though, we want to connect with you in person and not just online. We would love to meet you and chat over a free coffee in our church café!

Finding Northreach

Northreach Baptist Church is located at 38 Canterbury Road in the sunny suburb of Kirwan in Townsville, Queensland. We are two minutes from Willows Shopping Centre, just off Kern Brothers Drive and opposite the Ryan Catholic College Senior Campus. Our service times are listed above.

Where can I find parking at Northreach?
At Northreach Kirwan, we have parking on site close to the entrance of the building.
How do I find the Kids Church?
At Northreach, we have a seperate Kids Church building next to the main church auditorium. If you come through the main church entrance the friendly welcome team will be able to direct you towards the Kids church building.
Will I know anybody at Northreach?
If you don't know anyone when you arrive, we guarantee you will before you leave! If you would feel more comfortable to know someone before you arrive, contact us today and meet someone over the phone, or arrange to meet us in person before the service.
What should I wear?
You are welcome to our church in whatever you feel comfortable wearing. However, if you are conscious of what you are wearing compared to others, we certainly don't want that to be a distraction for you. Generally on Sundays, you will find some of our congregation wearing their "Sunday Best" clothing, business casual, and even casual attire. We are not concerned with what you wear.
