karen congregation

Northreach is home to a vibrant Karen Community Congregation, serving Karen people and families from Myanmar and the wider Karen community in Townsville.

The congregation gathers each Sunday at 11:30am, with other opportunities throughout the week for fellowship, prayer and Bible study.

As part of Northreach Baptist Church, the Karen Community Congregation shares our vision of Following Jesus and Reaching People, while providing a place where people can worship, learn from the Bible and grow in faith in their heart language and cultural community.

Whether you have recently arrived in Townsville, have been part of the Karen community for many years, or are simply looking for a church community where you can belong, you are warmly welcome.
