student lodge

The Northreach Student Lodge provides affordable accommodation for students and young adults, conveniently located for access to James Cook University.

The Lodge offers a welcoming Christian environment where residents have the opportunity to live within a supportive community while developing in faith, character and their capacity to serve God and others.

Shared facilities include an air-conditioned common room, kitchen with allocated storage, laundry facilities and separate male and female bathrooms. Residents are responsible for preparing their own meals and are encouraged to participate in the community life of the Lodge.

Living at the Northreach Student Lodge provides an opportunity to experience Christian community, develop meaningful relationships and grow alongside other young adults.

At Northreach, we exist to Follow Jesus and Reach People, and the Student Lodge is one way we seek to live out this mission.

Quotes from Lodgies:"The lodge has had a profound impact on the growth of my faith and the nourishment of my friendships. I have found connection, belly aching laughter and an abundance of unforgettable memories. I have genuinely never felt more at home than when I am surrounded by the supportive, lively and joyous atmosphere of the Northreach lodge."

"Moving away from home was a big step, but the Student Lodge made the transition so much easier. It quickly became a place where I felt I belonged."

"One of the things I love most about living here is being part of a community that's passionate about following Jesus. I've been encouraged, challenged, and given opportunities to use my gifts to serve others."
